Removal of Coasters at CP...
I think its about time to state this so we don't get lame messages about coaster removals at Cedar Point:
A Cedar Point official already stated that Cedar Point will never get rid of their coasters, no matter how old they are. The will just keep replacing parts and re-tracking, and basicly fixing the rides so they will be safe forever.
So don't say Cedar Point is going to destroy Disaster Transport or Blue Streak....its just a bunch of Bull, and your probally makin' it up.

The likelihood of any coaster being ripped out any time in the foreseeable future is as likely as MF being demolished within the first five years of it's operation. Let's face it folks, unless there is great natural disaster in CP future, nothing will be making an exit. With that said, let's knock it off with the witch hunt for a particular ride you don't like, because all of the rumors are based upon people's dislikes for a ride and nothing more.

I agree with Jeff. I never heard or read that. Can you supply an article or any facts?
In my opinion, coasters will not last forever. CP may not remove any in the near future, but I find it hard to believe that a few of the coasters at CP will be around in 10, 20 years. There are a few (just a few) that will be so outdated in 10, 20 years and just taking up space. Eventually some will come down. The question is when. And the answer is not never. CP does remove rides.
You can't say that CP will never remove a coaster. You don't know that. Making a statement like that is like saying "Magnum is sinking". Even if an offical said that, who's to say they won't change their mind.

hey guys blue streak and disaster transport are great rides. now some of you may not agree with me but just hear me out. Blue Streak, a ride that kicks butt!!!! Disaster Transport, another ride that is fine. its fun and a great ride for starters. to me keep those two rides and maybe fix transport up some. to me cedar point doesn't care about that ride. half the stuff doesn't work right. thats just my opinion. but what do you guys think of destroying Mine Ride?!! what does that ride have to offer??!! I never see a line for it. There is no excitment on that.
