Remember GL's old funhouse?

It was not as great as the Upside Down House but Geauga Lake's fun house was a regular stop for my family in the early 1970s. It featured a huge slide to get to the main floor, a human roulette wheel and a rotating barrel as the main exit. They also had those silly mirrors and other things that I can't think of offhand. The roulette wheel I remember most as it is the only one I have ever seen. You sit with a group of people and try to be the last one not to slide off the wheel as it spins faster.

The fun house last operated in 1975. In 1976 an indoor theater has put in its place.

I remember the fun house! I was always afraid of the barrel at the end, but I loved the huge slide and mirrors. I have so many memories of the old Geauga Lake like the Bug, The Caterpiller ride, The cuddle-up, the flying scooters. I can go on and on. I remember Friday night was nickel night. Those were the good old days!
