I got my regular 2005 season pass in the mail last week, and honestly, compared to 2002 to present, this one is the most bland pass I've seen yet.
My 2004 season pass looked like they were trying to out-do the licencing bureau for ways to tell if it's fake or not... maybe it was too hard for some gate attendants to tell if it was a fake or not... ...
Does anyone else think that it's ugly or blah?

I know it's just a card and all, but I thought that CP would be fancy with it again this year.

It's almost exactly the same except the bar code was moved to the front and it's not pink. What are you talking about?

In 2002 and 2003, it was wavy style, and in 2004, they made it boxier, and now it is just 1 color instead of multi-shaded.

Can you post a pic of it? I haven't gotten mine yet, lol. You can black out your name if you want or whatever. I am so excited to see what one looks like as for the last 15 years I have had nothing but Geauga Lake passses.
it's nothing special, just your pic w/ blue like the bricks behind the picture. and it has 2005 in a rectangular box under the picture and the barcode along the bottom..
on the back is the typical rules/regulations/revocation yadda yadda.

I have seen the regular pass, and it is pretty "basic". I have the combo pass and it looks great. Of course, it has the Joe Cool and Parking added to it so it doesn't look so "bland".
Hey, no typos this year!!!!
Cedar Point, Americas rip- rockin', high flyin', sky defyin', record breakin' roller coast
with the cedar point and soak city logos, a red circle with snoopy in it and a big green p on my pass, i just about have to put on welding goggles to view it because it's so damn colorful and fancy.

I remember the last season pass I had had my picture on the back of it too in a grayscale and in the corner were four or five silver numbers. I don't know if they still to them like that or not but all I remember was that the ink they printed onto the back of the card wore off halfway through the season, but the barcode was still good.

I noticed today while cleaning that the 2002 and 2003 passes had the bar code on the front like they do this year.
CPFan200, if you'd read the thread, you'd know the color is blue this year.
