I'm 52 and can take either coasters or spinning rides just as well as I did as a kid.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
i'm 62 and I do not have any problems with any of the rides. My trouble is with the walks in between rides. Ever since my heart attack in Dec '08 I have been slowed down a lot. It took a lot our of me, and I am still trying to build up my stamina. I also try and avoid the excessive heat days because they do me in.
Why ride coasters? Becuse there is NOTHING better to do than riding a coaster!
I'm 17 and can ride all the coasters. I'm not a big spinny flat fan. I'll ride MaXair, but I'll need to take a few trips around the lazy river afterwards. I don't really get a dizzy feeling, but I have noticed that I grey out a lot more on almost evry ride. I used to only grey out on Mille's first hill and Raptor's helix, but now I seem to do it on every coaster.

5 tines in a row on Wicked Twister in the back this season.Oh MAN that must've hurt! ;)
It didn't hurt, it was just getting boring by that time.
i am 55. Although I am becoming more susceptible to motion-sickness, my stamina for riding coasters is the same as it was 30 years ago. Therefore, I tend to stay away from the spinners. Surprisingly, I can ride maxair without any negative effects. I will sometimes get a little nauseus riding raptor because of the outside loops. I plan to be riding (and marathoning?) MF, Maverick, TTD, and Magnum well into my 80's, (and 90's?).
I'm twenty freaking four (24) and started noticing this last year! I can still ride several coasters in a day, but I definitely can feel it afterward a lot more now. I remember getting off Gemini thinking, wow...I'm getting old! haha

I'm 27 and I can still marathon rides with little to no motion sickness. Honestly, for me, it depends on the weather. If it is really hot and humid outside then I need to slow down, if its a bit mild, I can go all day. The only difference is the "spin & puke" rides: I can't ride these as I did when I was 11. I cannot even tolerate Maxair more than a few times a year. But as for coasters, no problem. If your body is use to coaster after coaster, then you should be fine. If its not, then its going to hate you later in the day.

I've never been able to do spinning rides for as long as I can remember. Maybe when I was like 10.
As far as coasters, I can take them fine for the most part. The Voyage is a bit too intense for me to do more than a few rides on at a time though. I could still ride Magnum XL-200 (aka The Greatest Ride in the World) all day without a problem.
I lost my ability to ride spinning rides around 14. It was back at Volmer's Park, where we had huge family reunions every year. If anyone here every went there, they would remember the only really cool ride was the Tilt-a-whirl. I would ride that thing all day long. Then one year after 1 ride I got the nausea/headache. Ended up laying on the bank of the Maumee for about 2.5 hours recovering.
Now with a young son, my wife has to take him on the spin rides when we visit any parks/carnivals.

As a kid obsessed with Cedar Point, I figured I'd one day be in my 80's, marathoning roller coasters
I saw an 80 year old man ride Maverick and loved it.
I wonder what that marking on the beach is for, its right by ocean motion. No big deal, its probably for a new trash waste disposal so people on the beach dont have to toss trash into a garbage can on the concrete midway........:)
Oops, my bad, i meant to post this in the ocean motion thread.....it looks kinda silly here, i guess..:)
At 56, I still have no issues with marathoning coasters (even the looping ones). But I now have to limit my MaXair rides to one at a time with a break in between. I'm actually fine until that last swing.
But as the years go by, I do notice I'm increasingly more sore the next day, although that can simply be the fact I'm not going to CP 2-3 times a month anymore, so I'm not walking nearly as much as I used to on a regular basis. I do think conditioning has a lot to do with how one feels the next day.
I'm still hoping to ride coasters into my 80's...providing I can remember how to get to the park. Unfortunately, Alzheimer's runs in my family.

I really enjoy Magnum but if I tried to marathon it, my thighs would detach themselves from my body and walk off in revolt. :( Magnum is still a great ride tho!
I'm 41, and can still outdo my kids (14, 11 and 4) when it comes to riding, as long as I stay off Wave Swinger. I feel no ill effects from any of the coasters (beyond the aches from a rough ride) and MaXair and Skyhawk really don't phase my body at all. Part of that is from riding them so much this season. I think we've missed two Sundays in the last couple months. The only thing I have noticed is a touch of grey out on MF first drop and coming out of Maverick's first drop. It's worse when it's been a while since I've eaten or hydrated, so I attribute it more to a nutritional issue than age.
Wave Swinger, just looking at that thing makes me want to heave. Rode it one time 5 or 6 years ago, and didn't think I'd get to a bathroom or garbage can quick enough after we got off.
I'm in my 30's and have noticed a change, more so in flat rides....twirl n hurl stuff. I can attest to the hydration thing too, if I'm drinking water or soda throughout the day I'm ok, but on a blistering hot day I notice a tiny bit of dizziness after a certain ride now that I didn't get before (teen years). I don't know why exactly, but the one ride I notice it the most on is Iron Dragon, perhaps it's because I'm relaxed on it, I don't know, but it's the only one that brings out any queasiness on me now, not enough to be sick, just a little discomfort. Maybe it's just the time of day I'm riding it, at night it doesn't bother me at all. Strange right?
If you all want inspiration, 3 words, Mean Streak Henry. Got to ride with him on TTD last year and it made my day, everyone waiting next in line was cheering for him, it was some even amount of rides he got up too. He told me how many times on TTD that but I cannot remember, it was well into the hundreds though. That's how I'll spend my retirement, lol. Aside from all that, standing all day does numbers on my back now too, but I've found that arch supports make the day much easier.......and yes I still run like a kid at the end of a day when the coasters lines are super shot are they are about to close :P
80+ coasters and counting
I'm 24 and I can't ride anything that spins at all. I could barely handle maXair, had to sit down for a while after that one.
When it comes to coasters, I can't marathon anything. I get headaches and a bit "off" feeling after several of them (especially Mean Streak). I even SLIGHTLY grey out on MF's first hill now. This year is the first time that has happened, and it was on every MF ride.
I discovered this year that shady benches are a hot commodity! I tried out several :)
I use to be able to marathon anything and not get sick unfortunatly over the last few years that has changed for me as well. Especially spiny carnival type rides.
