I have also seen the "possible" red track on funcoast. There has got to be a logical explanation as to what it is and why it is there.
I've used a photoshop program to make it a little bigger and clearer. Still can't tell much about it. One thing's for sure, it's gonna be on my list of things to take photos of tomorrow. I have a cannon digital camera that can hopefully get a better shot of it than this.
Also noticed that it's too tall to be a dump truck, even one of the semi-tractor sized ones. It's behind the tunnel-like building, and seems taller than that and the fence in front of the supports.

It has looked like that for as long as I have noticed it. It has been at least 2 hours, and is still there.
Still there for me too... is it possibly the back side of Mantis? I know its a stretch... but I'm trying to come up with explanations before people jump all over this! haha
I've thought of that, but then it wouldn't be predominantly red. The other option would be for it to be the roof of a building, but its too high for that, as you can see the tunnel clearly. and well below it. I am out of ideas though. I just seriously doubt it is track of any kind.

Uh, that's definitely Mantis. Specifically, it looks like the last upward banked turn into the brake run.
Its still on the Fincoast Cam... but Im sticking with the Manitis Track comment

That is Mantis. You can watch the trains go over it over and over again.

It just looks out of place though to be Mantis. Its like there should be more of the mantis track visible. Not just this one 20 foot section.
^ - that settles it then.

I think it's just a matter of where the trees are, and how the angle of the camera lines up...
Had me going for second, though...
Maybe this helps:

Hey y'all. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I'm planning on going to CP tomorrow and was wondering if anyone wanted any specific photos of anything like the pipes near MF. I'll also try to get some more photos of the construction site area, staging, etc. And while on the subject, those do look like UL rated electrical conduits. I'll post any pics i get on Sat. or Sun.
Okay, you used a couple of big words. You have to go! (j/k) LOL
Get some good pictures around that shed. And take a looksee around Millennium Island for any footer spottings. There were rumors circulating that there were footers there a few weeks ago. Am I being demanding? Oh, have fun!!
