Red Cross Golf Challenge Photos

I was looking at Walt's photo of the purple train on the top hat during the outing. I noticed that the paint looked weird on the last car. The lower silver trim was on the last car. It never used to be and so I began wondering why the trim was not the solid purple it used to be. The Point OL has the pics.

Anyone know why?

And about the silver trim I can't understand what you mean and also the picture you linked to from TPOL won't let you view it so I don't know which one you mean.

Edit: I think Walts picture shows the blue train. Not 100%.

i think they either painted them to look better probably or they have a different purple train this year

It appears to me that the trains may only be 4 cars long right now, although it's kind of hard to tell from that picture.

On second thought, I guess all 5 cars are there. Perhaps they just switched the position of the cars in the train. I think the only cars that's position really matters is the front one (obviously) and the one with the catch for the sled (3rd car I believe). Just a thought.

-2004 Screamster

It is hard to tell because of the sun glare, but it looks like the 4th car in line has the one with the paint that gets smaller towards the end on the silver trim. I wouldn't think they would mess that up though.
