Recommended hotel (not on resort)

I posted just a few minutes ago asking if going to Halloweekends was even worth the $$.. My next question is lodging. Any hotels someone can recommend if we do end up going? Somewhere clean and not an arm and a leg to stay. Comfort inn? Thanks!

South Shore Inn is a good choice. It's on Cleveland Road just east of Castaway Bay. So it's close to CP. I've stayed there a few times. The rooms are clean and the prices are reasonable.

Studio 6 off of rye beach/rt 6. Very nice and clean, just got remodeled. Not too far a drive from CP either

I also recommend South Shore Inn. My husband and I have stayed there for years. We are staying there this weekend for our tenth stay just this year. Great people run this hotel. Never stay anywhere else!

If you want to not stay in a bug infested craphole or next to train tracks, the best place I've found is the Hampton Inn. Clean, comfortable rooms and free hot "breakfast".

Also acceptable is the Sleep Inn, but my last visit there was unsatisfactory.

This is a wonder place. I know the family personally. I used to work with one of them in Cleveland.

A friend of mine and I did the audio upgrade IT upgrade to the hotel a few years ago.
