WKYC Cleveland posted a flyover video of the current Geauga Lake park. That forum is archived so not really sure which forum to post. Thought you might enjoy the memories. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vh2KcyMDS0&feature=player_embedded#t=0

I wish I had taken more pictures the last time I went. If I had any clue that it was going to be the last time I would have taken so many more pictures.
Being that it's only 40 minutes from me, I wish I could take advantage of it now that I'm older. I absolutely loved that place. Now, I'm just praying that WWK remains open and Big Dipper is stable enough until it gets up and running again, whether it be in it's current location (I hope), or relocated.
I would love Big Dipper up and running someplace but I can't say I really care much about WWK one way or the other. It's not where my memories were made and I'm more of a ride person than water park. I liked having both at Geauga Lake but once the rides left that was pretty much it for me.
It's weird because the day that this was posted my family was watching old videos and there was a video of us at sea world and at a couple of points my dad had the camara look across the lake. It's kind of depressing.
Ps. There was a Dino exhibit walk through like Dino's alive and it didnt cost $5
I think that video was shot from an ultralight ... cool !
Yeah, what a rotten shame about these 2 parks - always enjoyed them both.
I still find it a bit of a head scratcher that - at least Sea World anyhow - couldn't sustain enough business to make a go of it. I know they were only open seasonally (31 years go figure), but it's not like they had much competition for what they were selling. Just sucks all the way around to see them both go down the tubes.
I was super before Super Stew was cool !
