Really 450 Degrees?

I was just wondering if there are really two spikes with each one having 450 degrees of rotation.  In the pictures it does not look like there is that much spin.  To me it only looks like 360, or is the 450 a total for each rider?  Someone please clear this up!  Thanks.

maybe it's 360 degrees on one and 90 degrees on the other... i don't think so and i hope not... but it does look like 360 degree twists!

But if you watch the animation video, it barely looks like a full 360, and at best I think only the front seat rider is going to get that. These things look quite boring to me. Sorry.
You haven't been on any of the existing Impulses yet, have you?  They're FAR from boring.

yeah, backwards, forwards, falliing, twisting, it's soooooo much fun! i'd imagine they're even more fun with the brakes at the top, since they don't have them on V2 and only on S:UE

V2 has brakes on the vertical spike.  It stops for a sec just like S:UE.  I could ride S:UE all day and I know WT won't be boring at all.

Yes, it's 450 degrees if you're sitting at the end of the train. There's no conspiracy here. Those wacky Swiss engineers have lots of fancy computers to be sure about these sort of things.

I do have to admit that no, I have not been on one yet. So I will reserve any REAL judgement until I have actually ridden it. I have been surprised before and though it does not LOOK particularly exciting to me, I do hope this is one that will surprise me. And I am definitely looking forward to getting on it.

No kidding Jeff. I recorded the CG animation and ran it fram by frame on the on-ride section. The train goes all the way up and twists one and a quarter times.
