Raptor's On Ride Photo

I would have thought this would have been posted already here, but it hasn't. Everytime I rode Raptor this year my picture isn't very good. I notice a few days ago that the camera was moved to the last turn into the brakes instead of right before the last corkscrew. This is probably a better spot to get a clearer picture of the riders but why after 9 years would they change this?

There are two cameras on Raptor, it just depends on what side of the train you are sitting on. They have not been moved.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Ah crap, I accidently deleted EVERYTHING instead of just one paragraph...

ah well, long story short, I think there are two camera locations, one for each side of the train. *** Edited 8/13/2004 2:54:03 AM UTC by Grovite18***

Ralph might be right about two cameras for getting pictures of both sides. But the lights you see before the cobra roll are a strobe light that goes off for an effect at night. I always remember seeing the camera right before the last corkscrew.

Edit: Here's where I remember the camera being. On the left side of the photo the dip behind the loop. *** Edited 8/13/2004 1:27:20 AM UTC by Gomez***

That strobe is on a motion sensor. When I used to do the final track walk, I always hoped I would find a hat or something big to throw into the beam to make the strobes go off :)

Yea, I know, Im easily amused!! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
