Whats really cool is if you get the 4th seat, (closest seat to the side of the station you exit from) 1st car and put your ams and legs staight out as you fall down the lift hill it feels like your flying!

i ALWAYS stick my legs straight out on Raptor...gives actual airtime and WAY more G's in the final helix...

ride early, ride often!!!
Hold up, I tried it also and it hurt. When we went through the barrol roll after the loop my knees ached. Then into the Cobra Roll it hurt so bad I though my legs were broken off. I tell everyone I ride with to let their legs relax

I ride with them straight out, and it makes for a much more fun ride, except at times it is tough to keep them straight out because of the forces on the ride.

I tried this in May with 3 family members, and it was such a rush. Since you can't hold your hands up we stick them straight out in addition to our legs straight out. We all had to stretch afterwards but it was more exciting. We purchased the picture also!
You guys are so weird!!lol...
I thought I was strange cause I always ride inverted coasters with no shoes on!
I dont know why its just cooler.Silly me...

7 Days and counting till I do the POINT
Gotta do the point...gotta do the point...
Do the above mentioned in car 8, seat 4 (the farthest from where you enter), and when you get yanked off the lift hill, even if you've never felt sick on a ride before, like me, you will feel it in your gut. It comes as a total surprise since you can't the the crest, and you feel like you have no control over anything. Fright inducing.
I did that 3 straight walk-ons, and let's just say my legs were tired after that. I also have an on-ride photo of me with me holding my legs up, and make a funny face, it's pretty cool.
try these things:

1) close your eyes the whole ride.
2) kick on the loop
3) look at the horizon (to your left or right side) on all the inversions.
4) look straight down all the time
5) scream like a banshee (oops wrong ride)
6) of course don't hold on to the restraints
7) I think we all know the best seat
8) Hope the ride ops play tickle me raptor on the brake run with you. ;)

It's a family park... not a park for making families.

Tickle me raptor: when talking to gabe a MS ride op, he said on ride nights when they ride raptor the employees will disengage the restraints for a certain car allowing the people to reach forward and tickle the people in front of them. Not sure how true it is. I haven't asked the op's about it. Sounds kinda kinky to me too. If you don't like getting tickled sit in the best seat then.

Yeah, I would sit where I usually do then. But if you are getting tickled in that seat, you know something is seriously wrong.
The ride ops can't disengage the restraints unless the train is in the station or it is stopped on the block brake and someone is physically up there with it. Plus, the seats are waaaay too far apart to just reach forward and touch someone around the harness -- it is hard enough just to touch the back of their seat with your toes! The only way would be to actually get out of your seat -- an interesting trick with nothing underneath you. As interesting as it sounds! My suggestion: completely relax and just kick the sky. :)

I tried this on Batman the Ride at SFGAm and it scared the @$!%@!)& out of me. My feet actually touched the car in front me and going into the zero-g-roll, I thought my legs were going to get chopped off. Since I am over 6ft tall my legs are pretty long. I am sure the same would occur on Raptor with tall people trying it.
Sit by you'r self and put you hands behind you head! What a rush!!!
That's right, Chitown. Tall folks, beware when sticking out your legs. I hit the row in front once while riding B:TR, and never again.
