Raptor Restraints

Did they paint Raptor's restraints green? I remember them being yellow, and they look like they have been painted.

They looked the same color they have always been when I saw them.

Actually the "green" is fading bad now due to lack of maintenance-and in reality poor Raptor needs an overhaul BAD-needs painted-(have you seen the rails lately? UGH) and the seagulls have marked their territory FAR too much!
I'll paint it--pick me! Uh oh-maybe I should shut up since I will be working there in 10 weeks-I would hate for them to really have me doing this honestly!

The thing 'w' rails is that B&M does not paint their rails. Parks do sometimes after they get the track shipments (Riddler, Medusa East, BKF {in just a few places} )
Mantis' rails are getting bad too. All B&M rails get like that, but yes Raptor could use some paint this winter.

Medusa's rails look silly though because the paint atarted peeling off of them almost immediately. I know what you are saying about Raptor and Mantis looking yucky though. Its as though someone needs to go over the rails with some steel wool though. If the new metal look could be preserved, it actually looks sharper than painted rails I think. Just look at the pictures of Mantis when it was new at Joyrides! :)

What could be better than Y2K @ Cedar Point - America's Rockin' Roller Coast?

New B&M rides are shipped with painted rails. It's a strange kind of gray primer-esque durable paint. It feels a little like the stuff that is painted on the points of contact for Millennium Force's rails.

I'm not sure what year they started doing it, but if I had to guess it would be '97 or '98.
