Raptor POV and Mid-course Brake

A couple of questions about my wife's favorite coaster (and ONE of my favs) at Cedar Point.

1. Anyone have or know where I can get a POV video of Raptor from beginning to end?

2. When I was there a couple of years ago, the mid-course brake run was not closing in the least. How about now?

Thanks all!

Theres a POV of Raptor on the cedarpoint.com site under Online Fun.

I'm not sure what you mean "closing in the least" but the midcourse brakes are currently not slowing the train, aside from a light tap. You pretty much go flying right through the mcbr without losing speed.

The midcourse has barely been hitting all season. This is good as it means the crew is able to keep interval pretty well as the midcourse is used as a trim to help with timing sometimes.

Lack of trimming also makes that last helix all the more better, but the last slam into the brakes at the end all the more worse.

It's not completely off as it was a couple of seasons ago, but it's still barely touching and hauling ass through the second half of the ride. *** Edited 7/7/2005 5:30:09 AM UTC by bholcomb***
