Raptor on VHS

Does anybody else have the Raptor Promo Tape that (I believe) they stopped selling? I got it from Cp's website like in 96 - it has a bunch of stuff like a pov, time lapse construction, and a bunch of cool footage. I was just wondering if they are like a major rarety (sp).

I want one! I have the Mantis Promo video but it's a MPEG movie that was posted on the Cedar Point website I'm assuming just before Mantis came out.I found it online just recently somewhere, it was hard to find but it's not on the website I found it on anymore. I wish I had a promo video of Raptor, even if it is VHS. *** This post was edited by Cornbread on 11/14/2000. ***

I have the Raptor and Mantis promo videos, with crude animation and all, but I don't have permission to post them... at least, not yet.

I have the retail Raptor tape, the one they sold in gift stores for about $14.95. I also have the six minute Mantis promotional video, with the mad scientist and out of control bugs -- I got that one directly from Marketing (a year after Mantis), for educational use in my classroom. They sent it with a whole package of material -- great stuff!

Are the promo tapes much different from the retail version?

i have both promo and retail tapes for raptor,and i have the promo animation tape for mantis.

My friend, Chirs, has a Raptor promo VHS that some Blockbuster Video had for a while... VERY COOL! It starts off with some cartoon egg hatching and the "bird" looking for a new "home". VERY COOL! I want him to make a copy for me. Anyone else ever seen this?

I have the Rapto promo video that was sold at the end of the '93 season that is the one with the animation of the bird hatching from the egg. It's the 5 minute video. It's kind of cool, the computer animation is different, but hey, it was 7 years ago. I also have a VHS tape of Millennium Force's test run on April 18th, 2000. It's just a POV shot from one of it's test runs...very cool. You can really see a difference between the bare trees in the video compared to August.
