The park has seen some improvement overall in terms of operations, and I think we can pretty much attribute that to one person.
Thanks Jeff!, I've been working hard.
Don't flatter yourself.

I still say the 2001 crew was the best.
I am surprised to hear they're hitting interval. I know it's only anecdotal evidence, but in the times I've been there since I stopped working at Cedar Point, 2002, I have never, EVER, seen the Raptor Crew hit an interval. Granted, I only go to Cedar Point at most twice in a season since 2002, but I would expect to see at least one interval while waiting in line for 30-45 mintues. Having worked on the ride for two seasons, I notice that kind of thing now when waiting in line. I'm always looking around at the crew to see what they are doing, what they should be doing, etc.
Congratulations, I guess...

The '02 Raptor crew totally ROCKED! That was the most fun I had working at CP EVER!! The '03 crew was awesome too till Halloweekends when they demoted their TL to MF-then that crew went downhill fast. We didnt even try for intervals--it was sad :(
If you go now Chris you will definitely see quite a difference and I am sure you'd be impressed! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

Don't wanna feel hustled? Don't go to a crowded amusement park. Go to a nice secluded beach or something.
But... But... there R no coasters there!1!@

If you notice at each ride there are flags, there are 5 total, Appearance, Attendance, Proficiency, Capacity, and the most important one I think GUEST SERVICE. if you have at least 3 i would consider you are a good overall crew since you have more than 50%. this years crew only has capacity due to the fact of numbers of getting people in and out, but at the same time they don't have guest service, which a crew gets if they have under a certain # of complaints to park op or it might even be 0 complaints to Park Op in a month
There was a guest service flag proudly displayed at Raptor when I was there yesterday :)

I'd take a capacity flag over guest service any day of the week, and twice during a busy HW Saturday.

Not sure if it's been mentioned on here, but I noticed on Saturday that Magnum had it's 1,000,000 riders sign hanging up in the booth. I know someone asked about it earlier in this topic.
Just so you guys don't forget about us, the CP&LE RR hit 1,000,000 riders long before Raptor and Magnum!

When I was at cedar point in July it seemed like pretty much all the crews were really hustling and doing a great job. Its really what sets Cedar Point apart, Six Flags cant move lines like CP can, and its really nice to see.
I was up at Darien Lake on Thursday for a concert, and took a (short) break from tailgating to hit the park, as I hadn't been there before. Let me just say: you get very spoiled by the speed at which Cedar Point crews load and unload. No coaster was running more than two trains, but the crew took so long to get things going that the amount of stacking was incredible. I'd say it took on average a little over two minutes between unloading a train and sending it out. Rides that should have been walk-ons were instead 15-20 minute waits.
Raptor can get a long line, but when a train is hitting that chain just about every minute, it is clear that it could be a lot worse.
