Raptor Fix?

I was at coastergallery.com and I was looking at the Raptor pictures and found this photo. www.coastergallery.com/CP/77.html What I am wondering is if what that text says is true and if so why! If this is a question that has been asked before I'm sorry I'm just really wondering!

Yeah.. I'm pretty sure it had a stress fracture or something of that nature... experts?

Yeah it was something like that. Some of the track had to be replaced from some fractures in it.

Do anyone know if B&M handles the fixing of the track or do they just oversee the fix or are they not contacted at all?

The track wasn't fixed. It cracked, was welded by maintainance, and cracked again. Then what probably happened was Southern Ohio fabricators, who makes the B&M track was contacted to manufacturer one cobra roll. Unless B&M had a spare.

A 'spare' cobra roll.

It isn't Vekoma people-- all the cobra rolls on B&M'S aren't the exact size.

I was at Cedar Point during that time and don't remember the entire Cobra Roll being replaced.

Now way it was only a small section of track, or rail I think! I don't think they never re-did the whole cobra roll.

LOL Hooper, I don't know why, but I found that extremely funny. The thought of B&M having a spare cobra roll just lying around. I needed that laugh.
