Raptor Down...

I was at the park yesterday, and around 8:00 I noticed that Raptor was not only down, but the line was cleared out and they had all three trains transferred off the track. Also, there were four maintenance workers near Calypso looking up at the track near the MCBR. I'm glad I got my ride in earlier in the afternoon. Hopefully this isn't a long fix.

Ive been there on days where the same thing happened (except it was on the Cobra Roll) and it was up the next day, hopefully this will be true again.

Any word on Raptor? We are planning to head to the point in a couple of days and Raptor is one of my favorite coasters!

Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs

When did this trend start that someone starts a thread every time a ride is closed? With 70 rides or whatever, odds are pretty good that there'll be something closed pretty much every day.

I was at CP july 6th and raptor was down all day til about 5-6pm and i was lucky enough to get in line and wait maybe 20-30 mins. So if its down theres always hope!

it was down again this morning. It opened later in the day, but they were only running one train and it looked like it was close to a two hour wait..........

My signature was way longer than three lines.

Yeah there must be something wrong with the other 2 trains if they're only running 1 train all day. Maybe Tony and Tyler will post an on-point blog about whats going on. Raptor is a good reliable ride so whatever is wrong will be fixed shortly.

It was raining yesterday... hence the 1 train operation. Nothing to see here....

Tony and Tyler (mostly just Tony) would not talk about whats wrong with it. If it was down for a very long period of time they might say Raptor is having some trouble like they did with Mille when it went down. They will not give out what is exactly wrong. Never did with Millennium and they wont with any other rides.

Haha yea because all three of those blocks behind the station might not stop a second train because the brakes are wet. Funny - the friction brakes on my car work when it's raining! :)

I am convinced that Cedar Fair will be the first company to install airbags on a coaster ;)
