When I was working at CP last May, I did notice it rained a bit, was kind of cold too... But every year is different.

heh

It is pure folly to try and generalize Ohio weather. You'll get burned every time.

Yes, Mother Nature and Lake Erie can have many days of unpredicted PMS! ;)

There is a saying about Ohio weather,

"If you don't like the weather now, wait ten minutes and it'll change."

My FST teacher always said it.

I always thought that weather changed quickly and drastically in Ohio...

until I lived in Michigan for a year.

"Whose bright idea was it to get him talking about Cedar Point?!"

Feel_The_Force, the expression here in Michigan is only 5 minutes heh...

"If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence you tried."

It's the great lakes and their effect that makes weather somewhat unpredictable, which is why Michigan and Ohio can have such varied weather. Generally, May is a good month to come to CP due to low crowds. Even rainy days (so long as it's not one of those all day steady rains) can be fun....if not better because people who could normally take a day trip will put it off.

It can be a tad cooler than the predicted temp due to CP being on a penninsula and the lake breezes, especially in May, can be a bit cooler.

We rode Millie in the rain last October. While it hurt sometimes, it was FUN FUN FUN!

It may not be, but it sure seemed like she was flying at over 100mph on that slick track.

Where'd the 8-ball go? Oh, there it is...

A nice place to check out the weather for Sandusky, OH before you go (not a month ahead of time, of course) would be www.weather.com. Cool huh? :)

And while at Weather.com, don't forget the zip code for Sandusky: 44870. And then click on the "detailed forecast" for the percentage chance of rain (if any).
