yeah this weekend looks like it will be a complete soaker, but im going anyway, as ive had this trip planned for months... theres still plenty to do, but it will be a shame if they cant do the fright zones, like the last couple halloweekends i went to.
You gotta get just the right amount of rain so that they don't close the rides down, but it's still rain. I've been on Magnum, MF, and TTD (yes, 120 mph in light rain XD) all in various states of rain. Millennium was by far the funnest, Top Thrill was going to fast to really feel the rain (IMO).

ok so yeh the weather channel and all the local stations lied about the rain this weekend. all of them were soo sure it was going to rain. twc said 90% chance of steady rain... all others said steady showers.. woke up at 10 and yeh it was raining.. by 11 it stopped and i think through out the day saturday, i felt maybe 4 drops. and sunday was an absolutely gorgeous day. while i was kind of upset to not see it rain so that it would drive the crowds away, i was glad it turned out to be a pretty good day. but still it wasnt as busy as it was last weekend
August 30, 2005. The remnants of Katrina arrived in Sandusky in the early afternoon, with a steady rain for the rest of the day. Bummer for many, but I chose to stay at Millennium Force, which ran nonstop for the rest of the day. I got 27 rides that day on MF. And the following day, after the rain finally stopped late morning, TTD opened and I managed to get 17 laps on it. Can rain be a good thing for those of us who don't like long lines? You bet!
I wouldn't think so. At least I hope not, knowing I'm going on sunday (Tommorrow YAY! lol). By high winds I thought it meant like 30 mph winds. Ya might wanta look into that,
As of October 30, 2005, I have rode EVERY thrill ride at cedar point! Begining with the Raptor and ending with the Demon Drop.
