"Rain" indoor waterpark.

Does anyone have any information on the new indoor waterpark being built inside the thirsty pony hotel/ restaurant?

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I looked and did not see anything.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I hope they dont tear down the thristy pony

From what i heard its pose to be built where the indoor pool is. And that it will only have a few waterslides. Thats only from what i read so far. I dont think they will tear down The Pony. Its called i think still The Green Tree Inn the hotel part is.

The Thirsty Pony has the best burgers around!

There is not a trip to CP without a Thirsty Pony stop with a Whiskey burger and a Silver Bullet that I can recall, well for me anyways.

Then again I can not recall a time I took a trip to CP and didn't stop at Diamonds on RT. 2 on the way home either!

The Hotels name is Quality Inn at the Green Tree!

Construction of the water park began on Wednesday heres the story walk posted http://www.pointbuzz.com/news.htm?id=989

I like the Thirsty Pony the way it is but they maybe it will get a facelift during the renovation!

The water park is being built by the same company that built "Fort Rapids" down here in Columbus, from my understanding. They take an exisiting hotel and construct the waterpark around it.

Sadly, its second-rate. "Fort Rapids" doesnt even look appealing from the outside, especially given the options we now have in Ohio.

Well, I take that back...it depends on the crowd. For younger kids, it will be great, but for adults...eh...lets just say it's no Kalahari.

We like to pick up a pizza from there on our way back to wherever it is we are staying...if you havent tried their "BBQ chicken" pizza, give it a shot. No Chet and Matt's, but close. ;)
