Does it rain much in sandusky?
If it does rain do they close all rides?
Oh and also if they close the park do they give rain checks??

They DO NOT give rain passes.

Some of the rides can run just fine in rain (ie: Raptor) but if there is lightning, everything shuts down until there has been NO lightning in the sky for AT LEAST 20 minutes. So if it does rain and you're wondering why the rides haven't opened up afterwards, that's why!

Yes it rains a lot, always keep an eye on the sky since storms can be very intense there. They don't just blow in, but can form overhead out of a blue sky quickly. Waterspouts are not uncommon although I have never seen one there
Last night there was an incredible amount of heat lightening passing through the clouds. At first we thought it was the lazers from the S3 (summer spec), because we were in line for MF, and it was happening over the giant screen. The show ended and the "storm" had moved to behind Power Tower. We all wondered if they were going to close the rides. They didn't. Let me tell you, it sure did add to the thrill of MF and Magnum at night.
