Quick Question

I cant remember, which Metro Detroit station usually does the most Media Day coverage? 2, 4 or 7?

Channel 7 is the one that actually covers the media day for the rides at the park. I believe the other two stations mention the rides but I dont recall them actually broadcasting from the park. :)

Ch. 2 - They showed the POV, the news caster and DRQ's DJ reaction to the ride.
Ch. 4 - They showed the POV. (Stock Footage)
Ch. 7 - Nothing.

maXair:
Ch. 2 - The ride got its own segment with riders reactions and on-ride footage.
Ch. 4 - Nothing.
Ch. 7 - The news caster got the first public ride on it in the morning. (Broadcasted Live)

Skyhawk:
Ch. 2 - The ride got its own segment.
Ch. 4 - I believe they showed a short clip. (Stock Footage)
Ch. 7 - The news caster (same as maXair) went on the ride a couple times in the morning. (Broadcasted Live)

I might be wrong with channel 4, but I'm just going by what I saw.

I too remember watching Ch 7 while the weather guy gave the weather in line for SkyHawk.....good stuff. Cant wait for Mavericks media day coverage!

I have a good memory when it comes to little things like that.

Plus I taped the TTD and maXair clips and watched it about a hundred times. I've gotten better and I didn't even record Skyhawk's. :)

All three Detroit TV stations are always at the media days along with a few of the radio stations. Most of the live broadcasts happen in the morning, so wake up early.

Well, 7 was the only Detroit station with a satellite truck on Maxair media day, I believe. They're the first truck in this pic.

I believe Channel 12 out of Flint/Saginaw/BayCity/Midland had a truck down there too for both Skyhawk and maXair.

I've been checking on all 3 WEB CAMS at the POINT!!!, and I see a crane going up and down by the Sky Ride Station in the Main Midway close to the Raptor. I wonder what they are doing?

^ - lifting stuff up and down? Just a guess.
