Queue Question

This is a weird one: does anyone know how many miles of queue line CP has? Assuming you had to wait in mid-July or mid-August with looooong lines, how far would you have to go through the lines? I just thought it would be an interesting little factoid.

Lets take this one one step farther. How many miles would it be from the main gate-the main guest trial (by Power Tower) past Magnum-Frontier Trail past SRF-past MF & Banshee-back to main gate again? An interesting note here
I could make that EXACT path at 9am when park empty in 17.5 minutes. Does anyone know how many miles that is?
FYI: CrystalKat- on Saturday nights when park closed Raptors queue FELT 115 miles long trying to clean it up!!

2.1 miles is the length of the combined midways, but I mean the actual queue lines -- not counting the portable queues that are used when the crowds are huge: just from the entrance to the platform of each ride.

The total length of the queues for all 68 rides (including Camp Snoopy and Kiddieland) is 65,208 feet, or approximately 12.35 miles.

This takes into account ALL queueing areas, even those that are typically not used (think Mean Streak) but does not account for any Midway areas that would hold overflow (think Skyride).

Great! But if I may ask, how do you know? Where did you get the number? Incidentally, it is smaller than I'd imagined! Not that I'd really want to wait in a 12 mile line ... THANX!

I thought I remember reading it is 2.5 miles around the park. I think it was in the Cedar Point Getaway Guide last year, but I can't say for sure.

It's 2.1 miles, it's on a CP site's useless knowledge section.

How I arrived at the 65,208 ft. figure:

If you go to the government aerial maps (links on other threads), you can utilize the GPS coordinates to pinpoint the locations of each queue. By calculating the length of any known distance (in this case, the Magnum drop) and utilizing a simple calculus formula, you can easily determine any distance within the parameters of the park based on this scientific calculation.

Only 78%? I figured the percentage would be higher.
