Queue Line

I just looked at the new pictures on Cedar Points web site. I was a little dissapointed to find the queue line for TTD does not have the sun shelter coverings on the queue. What do you all think?
They will most likely be installed before opening day.

I am sure the Line Line (yes I meant to say it twice, it's as redundant as saying Queue Line) will have shades installed.

I did note the gratuitous amounts of misters :)

Thats right Virginia, I am Santa Claus.

Considering they can't place trees anywhere in there they better install some shade. They have the fans in place which is a good thing.

The coverings in the line have been talked about before. Check "New Pictures".

The only thing worse than people who make grammar mistakes are the people who have to point it out every ****ing time.

I think the reason for lack of trees and sun shades is because of WIND produced by the trains. That may be the reason. You never know. :-)
Sorry rider, I can only see it about a million times before I go crazy ;)

Saying "queue line" is a lot like saying "PIN number."

yeah, you'll get that.

I hope, really REALLY hope they have some shade in the queue for Dragster. It was unbearable standing in line for two hours with no shade to ride HyperSonic XLC, (sure it was worth it) but shade is a buttload better then scorching sun any day.

Shade is nice, but they have lots of mister fans too. They are very nice.

OK I'm nit-picking, but you guys act like Jasper was sent from God to show us all the way to coaster heaven, so HERE IT IS, Monty Jasper's journal entry where he says queue line.

Thank you Vanessa! I've wanted to point that out ever since this argument started but didn't want to get flamed for it.

Now understand me here... I hate it when people do the: "Saying "queue line" is a lot like saying "PIN number."" thing.

But just because Monty Jasper says it dosent make it correct.

Rider, I could not agree more with you. But try telling some people on this site that because MOntey said it doesn't make it correct. Numerous times the answer to a legitimate discussion has been "Monty Jasper told me" or "Jasper said..." and everyone takes it for the God's honest truth. So, for anyone who has used the excuse "Jasper said." as an answer for ANYTHING, then their queue line whining can just come to an end. God has spoken.

One comment on the queue (besides the fact that at least one of the "facts" presented is wrong)...

To paraphrase something Ronald Reagan said years ago:
"Mr. Keller, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!"

--Dave Althoff, Jr., who would have loved to see more of the ride today but couldn't because of that @#$!ed wall.

AMEN RideMan, it's like a sauna in that line right now.

That wall is ugly, and serves no point. In a full queue, you won't see a single launch the last hour you're in line. It doesn't hide anything. If it's there to hide the transfer/maintenance area, you can see it just as well from the midway and grandstand.

wall? what wall?

If people around here won't believe Monty Jasper when he says the train may stop at the top, you won't convince them that "queue line" is acceptable just because he says it.
Actually, Jeff, it does hide something. It hides the queue from the midway.

BFD. Tear down the wall, put up a fence. Let people stuck in the queue see the ride in action.
