Questions regarding a potential trip

Hey all, I'm planning a trip to Ohio this summer (most likely late August) and I was contemplating taking on all three CF parks. Right now my plan is to fly into Cleveland on a Sunday, spend Monday at Geauga Lake, Tuesday and Wednesday at CP, Thursday and Friday at PKI and then fly home from Cincinnati on Saturday. I will most likely be renting a car. Now to my questions... Is two days enough to do everything I'd wanna do at CP (All the adult rollercoasters, thrill rides, etc.)? Can I accomplish the same thing at PKI in only one day? Can anyone hook me up with info about the affordable places to stay near each park? How are lines on a weekday in August (Six Flags Great Adventure is my home park so if you could possibly compare it to that)? When is the best time of day to ride MF, TTD? I guess just basically any information that you think could help me in planning my trip and in planning and organizing my time at each park would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes you can do it in 2 days (you can do it in one, so two gives plenty of time). You should be able to do PKI in one.
Article about hitting everything in one day. Its a bit dated, but consider TTD like you would MF and you should be ok (especially with 2 days).

Answer about crowds.

Wow, thanks a lot for your quick response! This will be very helpful to me in my decision making. I guess my next question would be is it better to spend a little bit more and stay at one of the places at CP or to save a few bucks and stay somewhere else? I'm not completely familiar with the park layout, are the hotels actually located on park property/within the park? And if you were to stay at one, which would you prefer (It'll be me and my gf)? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I have the best info so that I can make my trip as enjoyable as possible. Thanks again!

4 of the resorts are on point (Breakers, Sandcastle Suites, Lighthouse Point, Camper Village) and 2 are off point (Breakers Express, Castaway Bay).

I would highly recommend staying on-point. They are all within easy walking distance and can provide a nice mid-day (or bad weather) break from the action. You also won't have to worry about fighting traffic at the end of the night.

With just 2 of you, I'd suggest getting a room at Breakers or SandCastle. I've only stayed at Breakers and LHP. I prefer LHP, but its really only worth it if you have a larger group that wouldn't easily fit into a hotel room.

There is also the possibility of staying off-point, but you would have to pay for parking each day, and you lose the flexibility of going back to the room to chill.

Thanks again! I think I'll probably stay on point for the reasons you've stated. I'll have to check everything out, but I'm really looking forward to this trip! Thank you for all your help!

You can hit all the coasters and thrill rides at Geauga Lake in a couple hours, especially if you go on a weekday. Add in another hour or two if you want to make use of the waterpark. In all likelihood, and dependent on the weather, the wet side will be much busier than the dry side.

I agree with Jugga that you can take in all of PKI in one day, though if X-Flight does land there this year, it could tack an extra hour or two in waiting all by itself.

Sorry to bump this topic, but with the likelyhood of X-Flight coming to PKI this year, do you still think it will be possible to hit up all the coasters/thrill rides in one day?

Shouldn't be an issue. You might not be able to re-ride as much as you would have otherwise, but you'll still be able to hit everything once, and some stuff twice.
