LiveEdavid... TTD was so fast and intense I totally forgot about the red & white color track segments. It will take several rides on this thing to capture it all, different things to think about. Then maybe see if it made it worthwhile on their color track. What a awesome ride!
What does the element of the track changing colors supposed to do?

They were supposed to give more of a feeling of speed. I don't think it worked and it looks cooky. They should have either made it all red, or did the red and white alternation all the way around the ride.

There is nothing that will make that ride feel slow, especially something as trivial as track color.

I agree that the alternating colors did not have much of an effect. Now to answer the original question:

How was the ride? Pardon my caps, but ¡¡¡¡AWESOME!!!! I was in the front row of the blue train, left side. The launch is incredible, especially without the christmas tree. It's just sitting, sitting, sitting, not noticing tire sounds we heard earlier, sitting, sitting sitting, and then WHAM! The next thing you notice you're going really really fast! But wait, you're still going! You're going even faster! Faster! When's this thing gonna end??? Faster! And then just when you think you're to blast out into the world of oblivion, you're looking at the sky. That's right, All you is blue, then if actually try to look, you see the tower. Might I add the tower looks NOTHING like I remember it when I was actually on the ride? Then the 90 degree twist. Wowza! That was pretty cool! At that point I had turned and we were about level with Millennium Force. Then over the top all you see is the entire layout of what used to be the glory of Cedar Point!

Then you look down. Way down. The spiral feels like wowza and then you level out and fly past the queue. WOW.

About the lines, I hear they went over 6 hours, but the sign out in front only went up to 4! Since I was at the front of the Magnum entrance I dashed immediately and managed to have to wait an hour and a half.

Pointing you in the right direction!

The queue wranglers were pretty cool about letting you slip out of line to go to the toilet. It's about time, too. Just about everybody was doing this, so no one seemed to mind. The few people I heard complain about it eventually had to pee. How ironic. Yes, we saved their spots, too. The guy at the entrance gives you a pass to get back in when you leave. As I said, it's about time. I don't know if this is something that will continue, but it was appreciated. Anyone who has a direct contact with CP management, or whoever thought of this, please tell them so!

In the immortal words of Socrates, "I drank what?!"

Were they letting people wait for the front seat today? Or did they at least have the extended queues in the station for it in the future?
