We are going this Saturday and wondering if my hubby will be able to fit these. He is 5'6 and around 250 lbs. He wears a 44 to 46 size pants. I know what the CP website says but have found in the past they tend to be off in what they say there to be honest. Looking for anyone that has been there recently that might be able to provide real life feedback and not just a big generalization :)
He may not be able to ride MF or TTD. I have a friend that was 5'9 and 240 with a 44 inch waist and could not fit on MF. He was able to get on TTD but barely. This was last year. It also depends on how the weight is distributed throughout his body.
Tips people say on here to do is to wear thin clothing and put the lap belt under the belly.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions let me know.
A few years back, I went up with a friend and we were very close to the same size 6'4" 250 size 40 waist. He had to do the walk of shame on TTD (kind of wish I did after the girl I got stuck with) but I had to really suck it in for MF. So I think it really depends on the seat. I've put on 30 lbs since getting married, yet still have the same waste line, still even have the same work pants from back then, so we'll see what I can fit on when I go for halloweekends.
I know this has been beat to death, but it really depends on where he carries his weight. If he's bigger in the thighs and butt, it will be more detrimental than if it's carried more in the upper body.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I am 6' and weigh 233 lbs and I have a 44" waist. I had to do the walk of shame trying to get on the yellow train. I snuck back in through the front car line and I was able to ride the blue train, of course the ride op had to put some mussel into it. so it all depends were you sit, the ride op and the train.
I didn't know that clams made such effective lubricants.
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.
Thank you everyone! I do appreciate your answers. He carries weight mostly in his belly and has thinner thighs so maybe we will be ok. We will be sure to do the trial seats before we wait in line though.
The trial seats are a joke, just get in line asap if you get early entry....give it a shot.
