Question on buildings near corkscrew!

Is that H-formed building(light gray) to the left of corkscrew(looking at TTD webcam http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/webcams/webcam.cfm?chip=1) a functioning employee dorm or a converted office building. I never noticed it until this webcam came back online. Thanks.

I always thought that was the offices. I see a lot of management looking people coming out during the day.

The "H" shaped structure is Gold Dorms...though I use the word "dorm" in the most generic sense. It is more a s"tructure that includes individual units with four walls and a ceiling."

The long, narrow building(s) immediately next to corkscrew is the maintenance complex. The building at the base of the water tower is the laundry facility and the wardrobe office.

The small building in front of the "H" is the maintenance office. The building immediately behind the watertower is the new Corporate office building. The building to the left of teh Corporate Office is the Food Distribution warehouse. That is connected to a building behind it that includes Kinzel's current (or old office...if they have moved into the new building) along with marketing/pr (and I assume Tony and Tyler are in there), the food division offices, the employee cafeteria, catering kitchens and at the way back...the new Joe Cool Cafe.

I don't think I missed anything major. I guess the old convention center is in there somewhere but my eyes are getting old. The "rock" building in the courtyard in front of Kinzel's old office houses accounting, finance and the Investor Relations folks...or at least it did.

I don't know who is moving into the new building. The building just outside the picture to the left is where my wife and I first...well...I guess I'll just leave it at that.

I remember the season I worked for an amusement park and this was all super exciting. In the end, my office however was a small windowless area where I felt disconnected with the park. Most of the time I forgot I was in an amusement park outside of the few pictures in the halls of coasters.

It's the Maintence offices.

There's the compressor rooms for Power Tower over there too next to the carpenters building under the lift of the corkscrew

I believe you are referring to the Goodtime Theater, formerly the IMAX theater.

I think that is a reference to the elevated control room for the laser show.

Yes it looks like a control room. Is it just for the laser show? It faces the big screen and I see people in there during the day sometimes. I thought it was security.
