I was reading through previous ride accident posts when I saw something you said about the Blue Streak being reprofiled. What was this?

I don't know the details, but I remember hearing or reading someplace that in its very first season, or close to it, there was an incident on Blue Streak which involved a train tearing right through the track on a hill-peak so that the train came back on a couple of its up-stops. Or something like that. I have further heard or read that the result was that John Allen had to come out and fix Frank Hoover's ride, that there was a minor reprofile of the ride, but it was a long time ago and nothing that any of us young'uns would notice. :)
Perhaps someone else out there knows more about this...I'll scour the materials I have and see what I can come up with.
