question about top thrill dragster

I want to know why Top Thrill Dragster was built the way it was. Why did it have to be 420 ft and not 350 ft? Why does it have to have yellow supports and red/white track? Why was it built at Cedar Point and not at Dorney Park? Why was it themed to drag racing? Why was it built by Intamin? And why did it take three years to design and plan a coaster that has a simple layout that I can think of in 3 seconds?

Because that is the way it is.

simply put, CP wanted to blow the competition away.

It was built by Intamin because I strongly believe they were the only company who COULD build something like this

The red/white is themed to a drag strip.

It was built at CP because, well, if you dont know why it was built at CP, you shouldnt be posting here.

It was 420feet to be higher than S:TE and to clearly break 400 feet

and it took 3 years because you are apparently not very familiar of the work that goes into a project like this ;)
