Question About Tires and Engine On Dragster

The other day I thought I saw the tires and engine on dragster. Can anyone tell me that's been to the Point lately if there on there? Any Feedback would be great; thanks!

No, there not there anymore. In fact, the tires are now used as supports for display tables in Speed Zone.

They had them on the ride for probably the first month or month and a half of last year. It is my understanding that they were creating to much wind drag in turn putting to much strain on the cables. I'm a season pass holder and got to ride the coaster about 3 times before they took them off. It seems to me the ride wasn't always reaching 120mph before, and now that they've taken them off, it often exceds 120mph sometimes hitting 123 or 124. They looked nice, but give me the speed anyday.

Let's just say (as has been mentioned in several other threads in the last year or so) that the tire flying off of one of the trains last year caused the theming to be removed.
