Hi everyone, new to the board.
I was wondering, how much of a hassle is it to buy your tickets at the gate as opposed to buying them online?
If I buy them online can I just walk right through and avoid the crowds? or is it no big deal.
Reason I ask is because I am a veteran and they give you $10 off your ticket. I love the connivance of being able to bring and walk right in though, so I might just pay the whole price if you guys tell me it is a better idea.
Also, wondering if you guys think I could get the $10 off for being a veteran even if I print the tickets. Meaning, there is no option for that(obviously, how would they know) but if I took the ticket receipt in and showed them my military ID they would give me 10 bucks back?
Just wondering. Great site you guys have going here.
If there's any line at the gate, its usually minimal. At the main gate they have 9 or 10 ticket windows, and a couple at each of the others. It really shouldn't be a problem to get them at the gate.
You could also try going to Meijers or AAA. They may also sell the veteran ticket, its just not advertised as much.

The lines at the park usually don't get too bad. I'm not sure about getting money back if you buy online and then show a military ID, I don't know how that part works. Typically if you buy online you can walk right in with no problem. Occasionally the margins on the page won't line up just right and it can take a minute to get it to scan, but that's about it as far as problems go.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Save yourself that hassle of trying to get money back and just buy them at the park.
