First of all, assuming that the footer is for a roller coaster. My question is are there differences in footers for wooden and steel coasters? Usually steel coasters have the bolts coming straight out for the tubular supports and I'm not sure but don't wooden coasters have kind of a brace for the wooden supports? The point I'm tryin' to make is it possible that blue tarp was put there to conceal this?
Well there is steel coming out of the footer, but it is just covered up. It looks to be a steel coaster.

Some wooden coasters have steel connecting the footer to the wooden support. Then again, some wooden coasters have steel supports.
1,146 rides on Raptor. Three rides in 2009.
The only metal connectors between footers and wooden support beams I've ever seen are rather small bracket that bolt to the wooden supports. An example of this would be the footers on The Voyage.
Even though it will have metal supports, the principle is much the same.
