I think you might be referring to the sun shades along the midway. The rings that hold the canvas also support can lights that shine down on the street at night.

I examined those 6 white platforms by the spinny ride. From underneath you can clearly see that there are nozzles around the piping that will release a water mist on hot days. I talked to an insider who said that if you stand under one of them and say "jumbo jet" three times you will be beamed up somewhere!

No, the flagpole is holding it wrong. That's why you cannot get cell signal when it's windy.

They don't look like water nozzels to me at all, they look like the nuts and washers on the bolts that hold the canopy on.
