Question about July...
My family and friends are taking our first two-day adventure to the Point this summer. I believe we are planning on July 2 and 3rd. It's a Tuesday and Wednesday. I know they usually aren't overly crowded on those days of the week, but with it being the 4th of July time, would it be any more packed? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
As I gaze into my crystal Ball..Swami says Holiday times at the point can be Busy..better check with Willard Scott too though forcedude...

we went some years back on the 4th of july and they had the best fireworks display we have ever seen! the crowds weren't as bad as on fridays and weekends.
I go to CP on the 4th of July every year for the past 3 or 4 years...I always have a great time with my girlfriend and we stay until the entire park closes at midnight...We always find a way to catch the fireworks show no matter where we are in the park...The crowds are busy that day, but not as bad as they could be...I always enjoy going on the 4th and you can bet that I'll be there again that day

I think the days you are going, 2nd and 3rd, you will have a pretty normal high summer weekday crowd on the 2nd. The 3rd might be busier with people who are coming specifically for the 4th (the fireworks ARE great). But since the 4th is on a Thursday this year, I think more people will tack on Friday the 5th rather than Wednesday the 3rd.
