I haven't heard anything about Hot Summer Lights until it was posted in the 4th of July activities, so obviuosly there it is playing. The question is; is it the same tired old show or has there been any upgrades, enhancements, or changes for the better?
Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.
I watched it last Thursday, they changed a few of the songs but its mainly just the same.
It's pretty much the same. They changed a few songs, kept most of them. The changed some of the video. The video of Detroit features the Lions a choice curious given the other teams are good they have. Cleveland doesn't have any team featured. For a "summer" show they sure have a lot of football video which is an autumn sport. I know the point they are trying to get across with the various schools and football lends itself better to school spirit. I think there is more firewater and fireworks this year.
Me and my fiance watched it "backwards" from the park lot next to MF and the marina. Let's just say it seemed different from last year, with the cartoon images and such. I did, however, think the cartton with the little "fairy" person or whatever that was was lame and it went on too long into the show.....but the firewater was cool and fireworks were neat also.
The place we sat was a good little private spot to hang out at, there are picninc tables, but bewarem there are many bugs that hang there also, so you have to swat away many times......:)
