Question about Getaway Guide

I was told by a friend that CP won't send you the Getaway Guide if you live too close to the park. I live an hour west of the park and I requested mine some time agao and still have not received it...and I know a lot of you received yours from the posts I read. Does anyone know the scoop?

I doubt it. Just doesn't make much of a buisness sense to block advertising to people living too close. Call again and sign to get a new one.

There were certain zip codes that they didn't send to as of last year, because there were quite a few people that said they didn't get any and that they lived pretty close. If this holds true, maybe somebody that got one can send you an extra if they request another...

They may have changed it this year, because I could not receive any in the past yet got one this year. I live less than an hour east of the park. My family and I made multi day trips and stayed at the resorts for about 8 years straight. We stoped going because it was just getting too expensive, but probably would have went a few more years more if we got one of those guides. There are some great coupons in there I could have persuaded my parents to use .

EDIT:

The Getaway Guide program has changed this season. They are now available to anybody who reserves one, no matter where you live. You must reserve one by calling 1-800-BEST-FUN. They will not be available just for the asking at Guest Services.

But doesn't the Park Operations office outside the main entrance gate have extra copies available for the asking?
