Question about disaster transport

Can anyone tell me if disaster transport has any steep drops or anything because we didnt ever ride it and one of my friends is coming with me this year and he is soemone who will only ride rides like Corkscrew, Iron Dragon Wildcat, Bluestreak, and the Mine Ride and im wondering if it has any real drops or anything so that i can know if he will like it or not.
No, DT has just swooping drops and turns, nothing major. Even Wild Cat has bigger drops than DT.
Hey where can you get the glasses for DT?

The only "scary" thing about DT is the darkness. Makes the ride better though.

I am pretty sure if there were sudden drops on DT, the car would fly off the trough, considering there is no track.

Yeah, I was wondering this too... my boyfriend is so into 3D for who knows what reason and keeps bugging me to find out. I never even knew there were glasses and I've been on that ride probably 20 times...

Oh and yes, I realize disaster is spelled wrong in my name, too late to change it now, *sniff*

They sell the glasses in line.

Oh? Where at? I just can't believe I would have never noticed. It could be just me.

The 3-D glasses aren't that good. It's not like it makes the ride any more interesting. Theres really no point to them other than the stuff in the que lines.

Spiderman at IOA on the other hand is awesome with the 3-D glasses. You don't even have to pay for them, just pick them up and drop them off at the end of the ride.

As soon as you pass the Black curtains, there is a merchandise employee selling various glow-in-the-dark/ light up items. The ChromaDepth® 3-D Glasses are $1 and are made by American Paper Optics, Inc. If you have a pair of the glasses (They have them all over the place, not just at CP), go to www.chromatek.com for some pretty cool "3-D" artwork and learn how to make your own.

The ride is pretty tame in itself, but is taken to another level with the darkness. If your friend can ride the other ride you mentioned, they could definitely handle DT.

I bought the 3-D glasses, it really wasn't worth it. I felt like I spent most of the ride worrying about if they were going to fall off of my head! ;) I gave my pair to my sister and her friends when they visited me, they love the ride, so I think it made it better for them.
