My wife just asked a really good question. I don't know the answer too.
My daughter has been hired to work at Cedar Point this year, yea!
Cedar Point employee's and their families are not eligible to win any contests, right?
The simple question is, does that mean that her father (me), mother, and brother are not eligible to win?
or
does the tier go downward, meaning. My daughter, her husband, and her kids can't win, (even though she don't have any kids and isn't married).
Just wondering. I never win anything anyways.
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
For most (if not all) of our contests, the following is true (taken from rules and regs of a previous contest). It's rare that we deviate from the "employee & immediate family" requirement:
Sweepstakes is open only to individuals, 18 years or older at time of entry, who are legal residents of the United States. Employees of Cedar Fair, L.P. and its subsidiaries or agents, their immediate families, and those domiciled with any of the foregoing are not eligible.

^^So where's the stipulation that says never pick Dvo to be the winner?? Huh? ;) Just kidding. But I really wanted to win that Diamondback contest. Although I'm an auction winner so I'll be there bright and early Saturday!

That really doesn't seem fair to Canadian fans, especially considering there are a great many of them.

Maybe not, but its not the parks fault.
Blame our clunky and poorly written tax laws for it.
