Question about 2014 Platinum Pass payment plan

So, my question is this: my sister just purchased a platinum pass on the payment plan, and she wanted to know if she has to wait until all the payments are taken out for her to use her pass? If that were the case, she wouldn't be able to go to CP until the fall. As I understand it, if a payment does not go thru for whatever reason, her season pass becomes invalid at that particular moment. Can anyone verify this?

As long as the payments are current, the pass is active and can be used before it's paid off.

We just made our first payment on our passes and went to Kings Island on Friday, so they work.

Same with last year we used the payment plan all summer long and went tot he park all summer long.

Wait so you can do the payment plan and the pass is valid from first payment, not end of payments? Well crap, I could have got the renewal price and whatnot and not drained 100 bucks out of my account this weekend..ah well lol, least it's said and done.

Yes, as long as you don't miss a payment it's supposed to work when the park opens. If you stop paying they stop letting you in.

It's now 4 payments of $50. Renewal and new. Platinum has officially hit the $200 mark.

^^ YEESH!!! I paid 180.00 at the end of last season for the renewal price! I hope they give us a similar deal at the end of the season THIS YEAR!! It's starting to get expensive! OR give us more platinum perks!

this is my first year buying a season pass to a cedar fair parks(platinum). my home park is SFGadv. I cant believe how much more cedar fair passes are. my SF gold pass runs me $5.99 a month for 12 months.

I've been saying for years that they were underpricing the platinum pass.

You do get a lot of perks with the Platinum, I think all the gift shops I went to even in Hotel Breakers had a discount. I think it is worth the price.
