I know rides get shut down becuase of high winds, but how high do the winds need to be before they start to shut down rides. I was planning on being there on Tuesday and the forecast calls for 20 mph winds. Is that enough to shut down any or all the rides, whats the limit if anyone knows. Thanks.
Usually Dragster is first major attraction, around 25MPH Sustained winds and the Top-Hat. Sky ride is always shut down for even the slightest wind it seems. I would imagine Magnum may have trouble in High Winds next, but I'm sure there are more people here that could answer this question better than I. The wind was rather brisk today and there was not any weather related downtimes.

I didn't see the skyride running once today. What does that crew do when the ride is down? It seems they would have a lot of extra time on their hands over the course of the season.
The CP webste says :
High winds:
Demon Drop, Gemini, Giant Wheel, Magnum XL-200, Mantis, maXair, Mean Streak, Millennium Force, Power Tower, Raptor, Skyhawk, Sky Ride, Space Spiral, Top Thrill Dragster, Snoopy Bounce (in Camp Snoopy), RipCord (in Challenge Park) and Zoom Flume (in Soak City).
That covers a lot of the big rides. I do know that Sky Ride seems to close as soon as the winds pick up even to about 15-20.
