Question

I have a Question about Dragster. Ok I know there is a event coming up on may 9th and I was looking on cps web site and was wondering for the joe cool club but what is the ride that will be open to? Because they say that milli and ttd but then mantis and raptor. So does anyone know what ride they are going to have running for the Joe Cool Club on may 9th that would be great.

One other thing when they have it on the 9th and there is still a line for I before joe cool can ride are thy going to give us more time then they give us from 8:30 to 9:30 if there is still 2 hour wait for the gp? If you could answer these questions i would greatly aperate it.

I was wondering myself how they are going to do Joe Cool Club ERT on Dragster. I mean, they are not going to cut the line for Dragster off at 4:30 in the afternoon so JCC members can have an empty line at 8:30, right? Sounds like another empty "perk" for JCC members. First they add resort guests to the early opening and now this. I really don't see the extra value for having this $15 extra any more. CP seems to be the only party reaping the benefits of the JCC.

I would think that the lines would be dissipated in typical CP fashion, i.e.: if you are in line before the park closes you get to ride. The rides that are to be open for JCC ERT are TTD, MF, Magnum and Mantis and those ERT times will start after the park closes. I wonder myself however, how they are going to play that out because I could be entering the queue during my ERT time and be behind a full line of non-JCC'ers that were in line before the park closed to them. This could end up in giving each JCC'er only one ride during ERT, depending on how long the line is. That would suck. I think they were trying to eleviate this by making the 2 ERT times 8-9 for Mantis and Magnum (CP hoping JCC'ers would go there first) and 8:30-9:30 on MF and TTD. This I think is wishful thinking because the TTD line after the park closes will be much longer than that.

If you're smart, you'll use the first 58 minutes of that hour to ride things that are open with no line (Magnum and Mantis I think) and then hop in line for Dragster or MF at 9:29. I HIGHLY DOUBT Cedar Point is going to cut off the GP line before closing as it's simply something they don't do.

Also keep in mind that we're talking about May here and crowds aren't nearly as out of control as during the summer. Many people in the park will probably be with school groups and will leave earlier.

An hour of ERT on Magnum or Mantis followed by a ride on TTD or MF is an empty perk? I only wish I could make it to CP this weekend to take advantage of it! ;)
