Put your things in the lockers and SHUT UP!

Every time I go to Cedar Point and ride MF, there is always some ***hole making a big deal about having to put their loose articles in a locker. What I hate even more is when some people of a group will get in line, and then the ones who were using a locker will cut in front of everyone to get with their group. My group and I got into an intentse argument with these skanky girls who pulled that stunt when I went on 8/16. My question is this: do you think having to put things in the lockers is that big of a deal?

No because I don't see any reason to be toting around luggage at an amusement park. Why people feel the need to carry around mounds of crap all day is beyond me.

DELETED! What time does the water show start?

I carry as little as possible. All that walking carrying some backpack or bag would wear me out faster.

I prefer to travel light. License, medical card, credit card, cell phone (for when my son goes off on his own), cash and sometimes a folding hair brush. All fit either into a fanny pack or into cargo pockets.

Not a big deal at all. If it isn't secure fastened to me in some way, shape or form, it shouldn't go on most rides, period.
How much are the lockers?

The lockers are $1 for one use. They also have some all-day lockers near the front, but I don't know the pricing on those.
You won't believe how irate some guests get when they are asked nicely to put there large items/ loose items in a locker. Man if I had a dime for every time I got called names and yelled at when I was working Maggie I'd be rich.

i normally just have some cash, a deck of cards, and possibly a cellphone. whenever i do have stuff in my pockets, i just put it all in one pocket, and then sit so that the stuff is pointing to the inside of the car, even though i have really deep pockets and sometimes sit on my pocket also.

Lifes a roller coaster then you ride one!
The best place to be this summer,Cedar Po!nt!
allen, you should really reconsider having the camera on the ride. i get nervous when someone wears sunglasses that have a strap on them, let alone a camera.

i was riding sros at sfdl and we were entering the second helix right off the straighaway and sunglasses or a walkie talkie or something fell out and hit a support and boucned away, it was pretty fun(i was in the very last seat so i was safe) but if it hit someone it would have hurt!!

Those lockers are $8.00 for small, $10.00 for large. Return the key, and get $5 back.

I really can't stand it when people play the games and get these graint stuff animals or other large things, and then carry it all day with them and bring it throw the ride line. Then they make it all a big thing beause they don't want to put it in a locker or hand it to a ride op.
johnz, if the camera is in a pocket, I don't see the problem. I have a small digital camera that fits into a pocket as well.

I was going to start this topic when I got home the other day but got caught up in other things. Anyway when i was there ready to get in line for WT the lady and man that was at front of line said put the bag in the locker, which supprised me because it was a little backpack thingy that my girlfriend carries around and it was very end of the night and did not want to use a locker for the last ride, being in a bad mood already from a rude worker (thats another story). I said its not that much trouble to put the bag in the bin that you have in the station, he goes on to say thats not what they are for when he said that i kinda laughed.

Then as we where walking away form the line because I dont like to fight with a worker being there job and all, I droped it said sorry for being so rude and walked away looking back at a friend to talk I seen three other people walk in line with the same bags with out the worker saying anything to them so I walked backed to the line walked by the guy he said stop and I pointed to the other people in line and he let us go.

So for at least WT I dont think its that bad to put a bag or a small stuffed animal in the bin don't get me wrong or anything but when people try to get inline with the big animals and the huge bags and other things are just plan stupid.

The way I put it Six Flags needs more parks to keep up with the one and only Cedar Point :)

jonisneo, Millenium Force doesn't have 'bins' you load and unload on different platforms.

I could have swore I said this before, It's not Cedar Point's call that loose articles are not allowed on Wicked Twister. This is Intamin's call. It's just generally safer to not allow these items.
