Pull-Through?

Does any of the engineering types here (like, say, RideMan?) have information about the pull-through?

It's an aspect of coaster construction that I had no idea was done before. I assume it's done to spot major flaws (if any) in trains and track before a gravity circuit, but I could be wrong...after all, wouldn't really major flaws (the type that would cause serious damage or mayhem in a normal gravity circuit) be visible by eye? How is it accomplished? Obviously, there's alot of hauling involved making sure gravity doesn't pull the train down too fast, and to manually pull it up each hill.

(I re-posted the topic due to a typo in the topic title. I simply couldn't let THAT go by! :)
If you notice on the webcam cam the crane is extended almost to the top of the lift hill. I wonder what they are doing???
They could possibly be doing a pullthrough now, and perhaps thats the reason why the webcam is turned off (look at the time on the photo)
I am hoping that they will turn it back on to view the car going through the last over banked turn.

Update(12:26pm) - the webcam is now back online, and the crane has moved.
