Public Internet access??

Anybody know if there is internet access at Cedar Point? If not, anybody know if there is an internet cafe in Sandusky? I need to get some work done this weekend while we're visiting. We are staying at Lighthouse Point...any internet access there?

Thanks!

I can't tell from their website whether or not they're actually open for business, but give Chime Data a try (chimedata.com). They list a phone number on their website.

Good luck!

The only thing other than CP that Steelers and Browns fans agree on

We stayed at Lighthouse Point on opening day, and last year. There is no WiFi, but the phone does have a data connection, so if you bring a laptop with a modem, and a phone number for your ISP, you can access the net. BE WARNED, our phone bill was $35 this year for LOCAL CALLS...

I've done the dial-up route in years past with my laptop, but don't remember charges that high! I was on only to do some e-mail correspondence, though, so these were brief periods of time.

Another option would be to call the resorts line and ask to speak with a concierge if you need broadband. They've always been wonderful at handling guest requests, and for some reason, I seem to remember something about additional computing access. I'm not guaranteeing this, but it's atleast worth a phone call. They might be able to point you in the right direction. :)
