PT....Up or Down??

I was just wondering which side of Power Tower you guys think is best, blasting up or blasting down?  I personally like blasting up WAY better.  Because the drop really gives you no falling sensation, other than what you're eyes see.  I also think the anticipation of blasting up is way more intense!

Hi, I'm new here! My favorite is the falling down side! It's so creepy.....you go up real slow then stop at the top and never knowing when your gonna fall! Intense!  :-)

 

Oh, I got great news! I finally got my very first Season Pass for next year. I live in Marblehead which is right across the bay from CP!

I like getting blasted up.  I'm not fond of slowing going up only to sit up there for 5 to 10 seconds so you can see how high you actually are.  I'm not a height fan unless i can get there quick and don't have to stay.  Although I did ride PittFall, but it was dark and I refused to look down, so I couldn't tell how high I was.  Sky coaster is another thing I tried once and won't do again.

I much perfer Turbo Drop. I've only been on Space Shot twice and both times were disapointing.

The Turbo Drop side is a lot scarier! I think it's more fun too.

i totally dig up b/c it is just awesome! I think I am the only person that has the lung capacity to scream all the way up and halfway down. If there is anyone else that can we gotta go together!

I think Turbo Drop is scarier and more thrilling, but Space Shot is more fun.... I guess I'm kinda undecided :)

No up or down for me, I prefer to WALK AROUND it and avoid it at all costs. This thing terrifies me and the ONLY times I have ever ridden it was due to being FORCED by peer pressure! I have ridden it in years past...not this year though and thats FINE by me!
(btw-shooting up isnt as scary as being dropped)

Down definitely...the view is breathtaking, I get a nervous feeling sitting up there all alone, and it's a big adrenaline rush.

I've only gone up twice, and I don't think it's very fun. You can't enjoy the view, and the only thing I think is cool is the airtime you get at the top of the tower...that's about it.

Down scares me ish-less!  Sitting up there for that long with nothing under my feet is terrifying, but (call me crazy) I like being scared.  I think that it is the only ride I've been on that scares me every time I ride it.  In July, I rode Power tower UP and it is fun, especially the airtime at the top, but it doesn't have the same effect.

I love being blasted into the air!!!   (bonus--that side usually has a shorter wait)

I prefer the down.  I don't get much of a thrill actually dropping, although sitting at the top, waiting to be dropped is cool.

Coming down for sure..!

Still doesn't quite beat "Apocalypse" (Drayton Manor UK) for fear though. Worlds only stand-up tower, which tilts you forward at the top, so you hang face first (sort-of) in the harness.. Still my Favourite Non-Coaster ride... (is only 210ft though, but thats enough)
