I don't think even using a certain other park's counting system that PT could be counted a 1 roller coaster let alone 4.
Yeah and we could have 68 coasters if we called every other ride at CP a coaster too. There are many rides just like PT, so it isn't even debatable.
Superman is completely different than a space shot. It actually freely rolls on the track (PT is held by cables) and uses LIM to launch. Not that I'm saying it should still be called a coaster.;)

Demon Drop runs on it's own power after it's released, and it rolls, and it even makes a complete circuit. Is that a coaster? Ummm...no.

Ummm...yes! It can even fullfill a claim for a backwards coaster if you want to really stretch. The elevator lift would destroy of of MF claimed records also.
