Top 5 CP Coasters: 1. Steel Vengeance 2. Millennium Force 3. Maverick 4. Dragster 5. Magnum
Coaster Count: 102

Wapakoneta, 2hr 15 min. to Cedar Point and 1hr 45 min. to Kings Island. All Interstate for the most part. 6 only has 3 lights from 75 to Sandusky. We usually hit Sandusky early enough to beat traffic. Haven't had a pass for a few years and looking forward to riding the Beast and other rides at KI, but normaly don't visit KI religiously like I have Cedar Point for 13 years now. I think the kicker is the Resort Properties and Camper Village. I love parking my car for 2 days.

What I do to beat traffic is take Cedar Point Road instead of the causeway. I don't think many people know about Cedar Point Road because my dad(I'm only 14) flies thru that 7 mile road in less than 10 minutes. NO TRAFFIC WHATSOEVER.

The god of speculation

I am in Bridgeport, OH where we get on State Rt. 250 and drive a straight shot to the parking lot, 4 hours away. :)

Kathy :-)

5 1/2 hrs from my home in Michigan.... only a 45 minute drive however to Michigan's Adventure. We manage to make it to CP every year but yet it has been 10 years since I have been to Michigan's Adventure. They could make that the official CP graveyard and it would still take years of accumulation for me to make a point to go.

Hour from Detroit, so about 3 hours to the point.

The Crystal Method is the only way to find The Winner!

6,000 miles.
12 hours flight to NY and then 2 days driving.

And we're coming every year!

Sagi:

Wouldn't it be easier to fly into Cleveland or Detroit and drive in from there rather than drive 2 days from NY and 2 days back?

I applaud your dedication!

Cedar Point guest since 1974

It's probably cheaper to fly to NY, plus they likely include NYC into their vacation.

Picklesthedrummer got it just about right...

Although this year we're doing it a bit differently - we're flying to LA, spending 2 days at SFMM, then flying to cleveland, spending 2 days in CP and finally driving to SFGA in NJ (maybe we'll visit Hershey Park on the way) and home from NY.

We're trying to ride as much coasters on out annually trip, but we NEVER miss CP.

We are just at 104 miles from garage to parking lot. from Ada, Oh cant wait....we'll be making that familiar trek before too long. :)

....where our claim to fame is Ohio Northern University (GO BEARS!) and The Wilson Football Factory...making EVERY NFL game ball!

Hi redsfan from Wapak! ~wave~ we're only about 20 miles away.

There are a lot more people from my area on this website than I thought. Ada is ten minutes from me.
