How would you guys feel if Point would get this new prototype B and M, http://www.coasterdom.com/features.php?page=proto&id=1 I think i would rather see a flying to be honest, but it still looks cool,do you think this could be the future of point?

Well... I am hoping the future of the Point will bring us a flying and/or floorless coaster! That would be so awesome!

Well, I suppose it was only a matter of time but no thanks. Doesn't look like fun to me.

I agree Chief, going sidways doesn't seem fun. The tallest and fastest floorless seems like a better bet, in two years.

I would LOVE to have a floorless come to the point, especially a B&M! they are the best coaster designers in my mind, we need more B&M at CP! I like the idea of a floorless better than a flier, i dont know, it just seems like more fun watching the track zip by your feet. Not to mention it would have more inversions!

If you would have read more closely, the website states that B&M were only contacted to offer consultation. The company is in no other way affiliated with the idea and it certainly is not a "prototype B and M."

Besides...I personally don't see much fun in the design.

It doesn't look all that cool. i wouldn't want to go side-ways thru that mess of track.

Thats really cool how you found that! I always like to see new ride designs and innovations! However, I don't think that a high speed ride would be fun going sideways, especially one that has inversions.

Looks cool! That would be a great ride to theme! But why all the supports for that?

i've said this before and i'll say it again, i want to see cedar point put in a coaster like nothing else in the world, this is one of those, but i don't think it would be a good ride, mainly because of seat design, you would bash your head on the sides of the restraint, if its seats had lap bars instead, like mf seats only sideways, that would be kinda cool, also, the whole, "i want front seat" thing wouldn't be much of an issue, because it would be the same no matter what seat you had, so that would be a plus

The G Forces on that ride would be pretty high, Plus it just looks silly.

It'd be unique, but probably not fun. I think they're getting a bit too creative.

I personally think they should get this. It is inovative and I think the elements would be fun goign through sideways.

no, the idea is not at all well thought out or anything. it looks as though it would hurt and be a waste of space. if it was kiddie ride like that, then maybe... a full sized sideways rollercoaster just doesn't look to be in the future for anyone (thankfully).

i think before they do a massive one of these, they need to do a mini version, one that they can see if this will even be fun to ride on. lots of roller coaster designers do that with radical designs they plan to build, make a small version of a totally new design just to see if it will be worth building the thing
