Props to CP for Millennium Mania

Thank you CP for such a wonderful event especially the re-rides. My plan was to power ride Magnum for 2 days and MF for 2 and it looks like I will still get to that. Plus I got 2 MF  boarding pass's :).  The $34 I shoved out for the last 2 days was worth every moment of it.

I don't see how they can make that much money off it since nobody is in the park. Even if 500 peeps were in the park, figuring they spent on average $30 for parking, admission, and food that's still only means $15,000 in revenue for one day. That is a generous estimate too! If CP spent less that $15,000 operating the park which I doubt, then they should have MagnumMania's all the time! From my perspective CP took a hit from this for us, and that's great.

I agree Joe E. and Vertigo scared the crap out of me, and I loved it(20 launches in two days). I'm gonna give it my best shot to make it this Thursday also.  I bet we saw eachother on the Magnum, my buddy was the reason for the stop on the hill on Thursday......oops
When I was at Cedar Point, I was told by three different sources that only 600 people were there on Friday night.  Kind of empty if you ask me, I can't wait to go on Thursday!
Oh, macho nachos, I was the one sitting directly behind you when we stopped on the lift. We also talked to each other at VeriGo, where I got 31 launches in two days. I came back today and paid $10 to ride. I'm hooked on VertiGo now!

People also spend money to eat, buy drinks, etc., so CP can make money off that.  Plus, some people also plan a few day trip to go to CP and Millennium Mania (like me :) ).  Plus, most people have to pay to park.  There are ways to make money besides admission.
That's why I guessed $30. Hardly any people I saw buy tickets from the cashier so most paid under $20 to get in. Assuming 2 people per car on average, they pay $3.50 to park. That leaves enough for fires and a drink. Some people will spend more, some less, especially Season Pass holder which still probably dominated the event. I for one only spent $19 each of the days.

I still probably don't cancel out RGR and his bar tab ;).
